III.1) Pursuant to Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, the City Council reserves the right to convene into Executive Session(s) from time to time as deemed necessary during this meeting.  The City Council may convene into Executive Session pursuant to any lawful exception contained in Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code including any or all of the following topics. Executive session pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.071and Texas Disciplinary Rules 1.05 to: Consult with the City Attorney concerning the counterproposal received from the Municipal Utility District (MUD) petitioners to resolve the water and wastewater rate appeal filed with the Texas Public Utility Commission under Docket No. 58988. Executive session pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.071 and Texas Disciplinary Rules 1.05 and pursuant to Texas Government Code §551.072 to: Consult with the City Attorney concerning legal issues related to the possible purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real estate needed for transportation improvements and related infrastructure, including, but not limited to the City’s road bond projects, specifically properties needed for the Bebee East Project, the Old Stagecoach Road Project, and the Kyle Parkway Road Project; and Consult with the City Attorney concerning legal issues related to the possible purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real estate of property needed for water and wastewater utility infrastructure improvements, specifically related to the Post Oak Waterline Project.
