I'M GOING TO BRING BOTH THOSE UP TOGETHER, UH, UH, UH, ON THE SPECIAL MEETING APPROVED CHAPTER THREE 80 AGREEMENT FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES FOR PROJECT PHOENIX AND APPROVE A CHAPTER THREE 80 DEGREE MINT, UH, EX UH, AGREEMENT FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVES FOR PROJECT ZEST, MS. TORRES, GOOD EVENING, MAYOR AND COUNCIL DIANA TORRES DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.
WE HAVE TWO AGREEMENTS, UM, BEFORE YOU TONIGHT THAT WE ARE SEEKING APPROVAL.
UM, I'LL START WITH PROJECT PHOENIX FIRST.
UM, THIS PROJECT, PHOENIX IS AN AEROSPACE ADVANCED MANUFACTURING COMPANY THAT IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN AUSTIN AND HAS OUTGROWN THEIR FACILITY.
UM, THIS COMPANY WILL BE GROWING TO 71 EMPLOYEES AND WE'LL GENERATE PROPERTY TAXES, UH, TAXES ON MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT AND SALES TAX.
IT IS ALSO A TARGET MARKET COMPANY IN ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES IN MANUFACTURING.
THEY'RE LOOKING AT THE HAYES COMMERCE CENTER.
THE BUILDING WILL BE 50,000 SQUARE FEET.
UM, AND WE ARE LOOKING AT, UH, A FOUR YEAR REBATE, UM, THAT WILL START AT

85% REDUCING 20% ANNUALLY FOR FOUR YEARS.SO IT'D BE 85%, 65%, 45%, AND THEN 25%.
AND THEN THE FIFTH YEAR WOULD BE ZERO.
THEY WOULD GO BACK TO PAYING EVERYTHING.
UM, AND THEN THE, THE, A REALLY ATTRACTIVE DATA POINT HERE ON THIS COMPANY IS THE AVERAGE PAY IS $79,000.

AND IT WOULD BE JUST SOUTH OF THE ASPEN DENTAL THAT IS ALREADY CONSTRUCTED.
THEY ARE, UM, LOOKING AT A THREE-YEAR SALES AND PROPERTY TAX REBATE.
AND THIS WOULD BE THE FIRST RESTAURANT THAT IS GOING TO BE, WOULD BE PASSED UNDER THE RESTAURANT.
